Line Recording

Why, (when I hit the record button) on my Audacity recording the recording line (meter) does not START!!!?

It worked fine yesterday,and it plays-back music files. But when I hit record….the line does not move which is suppose to tell me I’m recording. But frozen in place at 00:00″00 (at the beginning) Any input/explanation is greatly appreciated. It’s extremely frustrating.

Hmm, this is interesting, I’m not sure why the program would do this. I think the easiest solution would be to uninstall and re download the programsince it is free. That way all of the defaults would be set.
