Can I get a different model phone using my Verizon Wireless Insurance?

I have an EnV2 and the front buttons are not working. I have insurance and was thinking of using it but the question is do I have to get the same model phone, EnV2, or can I get a different Model?

You will be the same model that you currently have. If the insurance company does now have any enV2′s in stock they will give you what they call a “like” phone which is what they considered to be similar to your current phone.

We just turned my daughters phone into Verizon for the same thing. This is her 3rd phone since I originally bought it for her on 04/30/08. Her friend, who got an enV2, a few months after her is on her 6th one. Both are still under the manufacturers 1 year warranty so we did not have to utilize the insurance.
