I’ve just got a motorola A1000, can anyone tell me how to get the keypad up on screen during a call?

I need to access numbers when calling automated answering machines (eg: press 1 for more options, 2 to speak to an advisor etc) and yet during a call I can’t seem to get the keypad up to press a number! does anyone know how to do this? (i don’t have the manual as it was given to me by a friend)

it appears that this should be no problem at all but i am not that familiar with this phone i reckon one of the settings may have been turned off that could explain it but i am not sure i would recommend that you call motorola direct or your network provider and they should be able to help you.
