Do all apartment complexes have to allow you to have a satellite dish?
I just start my DIRECTV service, but just discovered that I have to move. I just got approved for a beautiful apartment and paid the deposit, but then discovered that they do not allow satellite dishes. We called DirecTV and they said that we would still pay $ 300 cancellation fee, even if its not our choice to cancel, it owns to say no dishes. DirecTV said something they legally allow you to bring a dish with you. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
No, a different rule apt different about flat, you should have checked before signing the lease. However, it is not very nice that Direct TV makes you pay for the cancellation, even if you have not installed anything yet. Try calling back and talk to another representative or supervisor about it.
